PullMVR is a consumer reporting agency. If we prepared a report about you, the Fair Credit Reporting Act gives you the rights described here, and they are free to use.
You can dispute it. Under FCRA §611 we must reinvestigate free of charge and finish within 30 days of receiving your dispute. If you send us additional information during that period, the deadline may extend to 45 days.
When you write to us, please include:
We verify identity before releasing or changing anything about a file. That step protects you: without it, anyone who knows your name could alter or obtain your record.
If we corrected or deleted something, you may ask us to notify anyone who received the report in the last six months — or, for employment reports, in the last two years.
Under FCRA §609 you may request a copy of the information we hold about you. Under §612 that disclosure is free once every 12 months, and also free if you were denied something because of a report we prepared, if you are unemployed and seeking work, on public assistance, or believe you have been a victim of fraud.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau publishes the official Summary of Your Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We are required to give it to you, and we use the CFPB's own wording rather than our own.
